If you walk dogs with collars or harnesses, this leash is for you. The basic leash snap on one end is familiar and reliable, while the other end gives you a couple of choices. 

You can connect the trigger snap directly to the rope, and it will not slip as a handle. You can also use it to tether a dog, whether for emergency or routine needs.

The added sliding cord lock with stainless ring give you an attachment point in case you want to connect the leash around your waist. The different angle when connecting around your torso will allow slipping if you don't use the ring. 

The bigger number is the total length of the leash. Subtract your waist size for the actual length of leash when walking.
