The DT1 Drop Trap is a professional-grade feral cat trap engineered for safe, humane capture of wary and trap-shy cats. Developed in collaboration with the Neighborhood Cats organization, this trap delivers proven results for both single and multiple cat situations.
Designed for portability and ease of use, the DT1 collapses to just 36"x18"x3" for convenient storage and transportation. Setup takes seconds with no tools required. When deployed, it expands to 36"L x 36"W x 14"H, providing 9 square feet of trapping space.
The trap features a built-in prop, easy-release sliding door, and weight flap for stability. A simple pull of the string triggers the mechanism—no complicated steps or special training needed. The easy-release door aligns perfectly with the model 306NC transfer cage, and included spring clips enable secure, stress-free transfer from trap to cage without disturbing the cat.
Drop traps remain the most effective method for capturing trap-shy felines and managing multiple cats simultaneously. Ideal for TNR programs, shelter work, and humane wildlife control.
