Behavior Leash System

This is a custom, professional grade tool for dog behavior programs. This product is a multi-part tool for safely performing behavioral assessments and working on resource guarding behaviors. Watch our introduction video for more information.

This product was originally designed for the San Diego Humane Society in response to occasional problems with resource guarding issues that resulted in risk to staff. The leash is installed in a room and allows for quick connection and disconnection of the dog on a long leash. Resources are attached to the wall and the dog is attached in a way which allows the dog to be safely removed from the resource without staff contact or risk. Resources can be custom ordered, but generally include a food bowl and a kong which have been modified for tethering to the wall. 

This system works best either on one very long wall or with one medium wall and one small perpendicular wall.
