ASAR Halter Leash
The ASAR Halter Leash is a specialized product for Animal Search And Rescue (ASAR) professionals. The 10’ length allows this lead to be used as an emergency halter for horses, cows, goats, and other livestock during rescue missions. The leash has the same features as the FIeld Pro leash, allowing it to be used for dogs with both the trigger snap and slip lead features. ASAR leashes feature additional strengthening of all joints for extra durability but are not rated for life-safety purposes.
This rope is HTP static rescue rope, which meets NFPA 2500 (1983) and ANSI Z133. The leash fittings are NOT RATED and should not be used for any load bearing life-safety purposes for any species. The rope diameter is 11mm, has an MBS rating of 6,856lbs (30.5kN) and 1.9% stretch at 300lbs of load.
